The Majestic Theatre completed exterior Phase 1renovations to the century-old building in 2011 with funds from a SCIP Grant. The brick was cleaned and tuckpointed, windows refurbished, doors replaced, and a new marquee was installed.

Phase 2 renovations included improvements to the lobby, concessions area, and projection room, with a new office and ADA compliant restrooms. Life safety systems were installed in these areas, with provisions for future installation in the entire building.

Phase 3 design concepts include finish upgrades in the auditorium to address maintenance and acoustic issues. New lighting and HVAC are also proposed to extend throughout the remainder of the building. The schematic design portion of this phase was recently completed and fundraising efforts are underway.
